Based in Cornwall (UK), Katie is a professional artist specialising in dance, theatre, and movement.

With over 15 years of diverse experience as a creative performer and educator, Katie brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her craft.

Throughout her career, Katie has collaborated with renowned contemporary dance and physical theatre companies including Richard Alston Dance Company, New Adventures, and Gecko, with whom she fostered a longstanding relationship. She has performed in prestigious theatres worldwide, in notable events such as the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games (with Akram Khan), and in acclaimed immersive theatre productions with Punchdrunk International.

As an educator, Katie has made significant contributions in diverse settings worldwide, including primary and secondary schools, renowned dance institutions like London Contemporary Dance School and The Royal Ballet School, and universities such as Roger Williams University (USA) and Falmouth University. She has taught professional dancers for companies and organisations including Scottish Dance Theatre, Punchdrunk, Acosta Danza (Cuba), The Place, and Rambert.

Drawing on her extensive experience in devising dance and theatre productions as a performer, Katie has also worked as an assistant choreographer in circus, opera and music videos, and as a movement coach, providing personalised training for singer Natasha Khan (Bat For Lashes) and actor Anatol Yusef. With a passion for creativity and collaboration, Katie is now harnessing her skills and expertise to focus on choreography and movement direction for both stage and screen.  

Driven by a belief in the transformative power of dance, Katie strives to inspire and empower individuals to embrace their own movement, creativity, and expression. In 2023, she founded Nos Danza Presents, a project dedicated to providing accessible opportunities for people to experience and enjoy the wonders of dance through classes, workshops, events, and creative projects.
